Q&A: Why do married couples almost always begin to look like one another?

Q: Why do married couples almost always begin to look like one another?

A: If you keenly observe two people who enjoy talking to each other, you will notice a lot of mirroring. One of them smiles, and so does the other. One of them raises eyebrows or nods, and so does the other. Faces are actually like melodies that have a natural inclination to stay in sync. Multiply those movements by decades of marriage and being together, the lengthy years of simultaneous sagging and drooping, you’ll stop wondering.
